The Ravari Core's name is based on the Hungarian word rovar, meaning insect. As such this court is populated by insectoid folk and bugs.

What happened after the Split
After the split the Insect fey took over a collection of northern sky islands. They separated into groups based on their connection features and established communities in a few different biomes.
The original Rovari fey had less defined features. The old Rovari were a lot more humanoid basically only having a single set of small back wings and antenna.
As the old fey separated into biomes that better suited their Overworld connection they slowly evolved to better suit their environment. The innate magic of the Wilds influenced the fey to become smaller and gain more extreme features and abilities.
At the same time in the overworld the fey left behind followed a similar line of evolution but the lack of innate magic made their evolution less extreme while they also lost the abilities granted by their experimental biology and soul connection. These old fey eventually lost their wings, as they were unnecessary in the overworld, and evolved into elves.
Landscape and biomes
The Ravari Core is a warm environment of floating sky islands and each fey here is inspired by an over-world insect species. Because of this, biomes pretty closely meet individual's requirements. There are 3 main biomes in the Ravari core, Moderate flower forests, warm mountains and humid rainforests.

Each species has unique features, abilities, colours and personalities.
Consistent traits
Maturity Stages:
First, the nymph or larva stage, equivalent to human babies to toddlers, which lasts 5 years.
Second, the juvenile or pupa stage which lasts 12- 20 years. during this stage fey hibernate/incubate. All specimens make their overworld connection by this point.
The final stage is maturity or adulthood, fey do not die of old age.
All Ravari fey are connected to an insect in the overworld.

Mating practices and community:
The social dynamic of Lepidot fey is a very social and close community, they congregate in large group who live life to the fullest, always being in the moment, but they are very weary of outsiders and despite being the trade centre they are reluctant to trade with strangers. Lepidot fey are very open in their relationships and raise young as a group. Caregiver is a prominent career for Lepidot fey, and they act as parent to many nymphs, as nymphs are born in broods.

Lepidot fey can be coloured in many different combinations and body patterns. Their patterns and colours are normally based on the overworld butterfly or moth they are connected to. (The example fey is actually the god Alfey and therefore doesn't have an overworld connection and can appear however he wants)
Features:
Lepidot fey are characterised by their large opaque wings that appear on their head, back and occasionally their body, the more wings the rarer. They also have antenna and different eye patterns.
Personality:
Lepidot fey have the shy personality trait. Shy courts tend to occupy more shaded or naturally hidden biomes and will most likely hide in the shadows observing outsiders warily. It is very unlikely that they can be found if they do not want to be. As such, it is only when they have determined people are safe that they will approach them.
Ability:
Lepidot fey have the unique ability to control insects, and they also have super strong senses. Their senses allow them to avoid danger and warn others of dangers coming. The insect control ability is a minor one, but it helps them use the native large insect creatures to be working animals. They work in close quarters with the Exogota fey for this.
Inspiration:
Lepidot fey are inspired by more normal fairies with face wings that I really like.

The towns
The Lepidot court occupies a few sky islands covered in flower forests that are always in bloom. Most Lepidot fey live in smaller towns close enough to travel between.

Exogota Court

Mating practices and community:
Exogota fey are a feminine to androgenous fey type, similar to some fish and other animals the leader of the Exogota Court becomes female and their offspring that present the best leader traits also become female to follow a matriarchal line. The social dynamic of Exogota fey is that of a free-spirited people who either lead or farm but the ruling is strict yet fair. Most Exogota fey farm a wide verity of products which they supply to other courts and cores. These fey tend to trade through the Lepidot Court as they have the closest relations and in exchage they are given large working insects for farming.

Exogota fey can have many different colour combinations and body patterns, but their patterns and colours are normally based on the overworld insect they are connected to. (The example fey is connected to a lace bug, this specimen has its the patterns and colours of a lace bug .)
Features:
Exogota fey are characterised by their transparent face wings, insect body parts and large strong wings that fold out of sight.
Personality:
Exogota fey have the social personality trait. Social courts are generally more happy and friendly, they are more likely to share and socialise with both humanoids and members of other courts. They are also the easiest of the courts to find and negotiate with, but they are often tricksters looking for a laugh so be caution around their eagerness. Exogota fey are the least likely to trick people.
Ability:
Exogota Fey have the unique ability of helokenisis or sun powers. they can channel the sun into burning light to start fires or blind people in combat, but more commonly they use their power to promote plant growth on their farms. They channel light by filtering through their transparent wings like a magnifying glass.

Exogota fey were my first fey and are from the idea of face wings similar to depictions of petal faced flower girls.

The Exogota court occupies a collection of islands covered mountains and farmland. Most Exogota fey live in either the farming village or the city.

Mating practices and community:
Coltera fey are gendered fey who stay in mated pairs who have a few clusters of offspring.
The social dynamic of Coltera fey is that of a stratocratic or military based society. They have a large city where the leaders are the best fighters.

Coltera fey can be coloured in a variety of dark colours with the occasional bright accent, and various body patterns. Their patterns and colours are normally based on the overworld beetle they are connected to. (The example fey is connected to a rhinoceros beetle, this specimen colours and patterns based on their beetle.)
Features:
Coltera fey are characterised by their beetle inspired helmets, natural body armour and their lack of working wings.
Personality:
Coltera fey have the Aggressive personality trait. Aggressive courts often have a large a military or guard and are very confrontational, as such visitors to these courts should be cautions as fey here will likely attack with little to no provocation. They are more likely to be malicious and have the most advanced weaponry.
Ability:
Coltera have the unique ability of super strength. This gives them an advantage in combat and makes them perfect for both combat and manual labour hired by the other cores.

The Coltera court occupies a collection of small islands in the humid rainforests. Most live in either the large city or the few smaller outposts.
